Did you know that carob powder is rich in fibre and calcium and doesn't contain any caffeine, unlike cocoa? It makes a great substitute as it is similar in taste. Try this recipe that adults & kids alike will enjoy.
Ingredients

4 cups almond milk

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup carob powder

1/4 cup PRANA organic hazelnut butter

1 tsp agar-agar

1 tbsp vanilla essence

A pinch of sea salt

1/4 cup PRANA organic raw hazelnuts

Maple syrup, to drizzle on nuts
Directions
Pour the almond milk in a saucepan. Using a whisk add in the agar agar, vanilla extract, maple syrup and carob powder.
Bring to a boil while constantly whisking so the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat, add the hazelnut butter and salt. Mix and pour immediately in small ramekins.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours
Place the hazelnuts on a parchment paper covered baking sheet and drizzle with maple syrup. Toss well so they are evenly coated. Caramelize in the oven at 300°F for 15 minutes. Let cool, then chop them in large pieces.
Top the mousse off with the caramelized hazelnuts.
