This easy-to-make ProactivChia parfait is the perfect recipe for a healthy snack when you're pressed for time. Its decadent layers of chia pudding, creamy banana-fig smoothie and crunchy nuts blend harmoniously together to satisfy your snack cravings. Prepare the chia pudding in advance so as not to waste any time when you're hungry.
Ingredients

1 cup almond milk

1 dash maple syrup

1 tbsp PRANA organic raw cacao powder

3 tbsp PRANA organic whole black ProactivChia seeds

½ tsp vanilla extract
-
2 PRANA organic figs
-
1 ripe banana
-
1 cup almond milk
-
1 tsp PRANA organic raw maca powder (optional)

1 banana, sliced in rounds, for garnish Dried figs, thinly sliced, for garnish

Your choice of PRANA organic nuts, for garnish

Banana & Fig Smoothie

In a mason jar, mix almond milk, maple and cocoa powder, then shake vigorously until homogenous (you can also use chocolate almond milk if you wish). Add ProactivChia seeds and vanilla, mixing well.
Set aside for 1 hour, or chill overnight. If serving in the next hour, shake every 10 minutes to prevent chia from sticking to bottom of jar.
Banana & Fig Smoothie
Mix all ingredients together except for garnishes. You can first rehydrate figs in some water if they are a bit dry.
In a glass or small jar, assemble parfait starting with a chia pudding layer, then a smoothie layer, adding banana slices in between. Top with your choice of garnish and enjoy.
